2000 Euro charge for certain flights at Vnukovo (UUWW / VKO)

We have been informed by our agents in Russia of the following:
There is a ''Special slot coordination'' charge of 2000EURO applicable starting September 01, 2010 for foreign aircraft (excluding CIS registered and officially operated) departing during daytime (between 0700 and 2400 LT) in the direction of:
- any other Moscow airport
- Ukraine
- Belarus
- The Baltic States (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia)
As explained by the airport operator commercial office, this step has been taken so to minimize the daytime ferry traffic during rush hours.
