Flightworx helps charity flight set speed records

On August 14 2009, Piper Archer G-BYSP took part in the Dawn to Dusk challenge, visiting 25 UK airfields and setting 3 point-to-point world speed records during a 12hr 20min, 1100-mile flight.
This raised funds for the fly2help foundation, who help people and families with life-limiting and chronic illnesses- ``By experiencing the fun and love of flying, an exhilarating flight allows someone to reach for the sky and leave their worries on the ground; enabling them to see the world from a new perspective.``
Flightworx Aviation provided assistance and trip support as required for this hugely successful operation, including flight planning, flight following, and weather and NOTAM advisories.
Steve Bridgewater, one of the two pilots of the aircraft, said ``Adrian and James at Flightworx Aviation Services... did a sterling job.``
